The 'Handeman' is a compact, highly portable hand wash station popular for lower volume, lower risk food services operations such as markets, temporary events and mobile food business'.
The Handeman is gravity fed and water is supplied from an internal reservoir located on the top of the unit. The water reservoir is refillable and can hold up to 2 Litres of Fresh Potable Water. The waste water is simply caught and stored in the removable basin which once full, can be emptied at any suitable location.
The Handeman hand wash unit has the option to be left free standing on a bench or tabletop, or it can be easily fixed to almost any suitable backing.
The Insulated model is our non-heated, non-powered model that provides basic hand washing necessity when access to mains water and power is unavailable. That unit can be prefilled with warm water and its insulated body design will keep the internal water temperature warm for up to 3-4 hours.
The 12V model is designed to be hardwired to the vehicles battery, mounted inside or outside and is Voltage sensing, so it operates only when the vehicle is running to prevent it from draining your battery. When the Vehicle is running the in-built internal element heats the water to the standard 40/45 degrees for hand washing and maintains it at that temperature.

Available in two 12V versions (see below), it simply connects to the vehicle’s electricity supply, ensuring that hot water is always to hand. No plumbing is required. The Handeman for motor vehicles is supplied in a practical 2 tone grey colour.

All Handeman models retain all the dirty water in the bowl without the need for separate waste pipe or waste water storage container.
Small yet practical The Handeman provides a minimum of ten 12 second hand washes per filling – enough for hard day’s work, providing hot water with fingertip tap operation. It has a unique jet spray that reaches every part of the hands and washing under running water means there’s no need to dip hands into dirty suds.

Hot water hand washing benefits from an ideal water temperature of 38-43ºC.
Also available as a special order – the Handeman HM12LW low wattage unit comes fitted with a 90 watt heater.
The Handeman Original is robust enough to fit inside or outside the vehicle. Supplied with a complete fitting kit and full instructions together with the correct fuse and fuse holder. A 4mm (35amp) cable is needed to connect directly to the battery terminals.
Teal vehicle units incorporate 3 wire technology. Standard battery positive – red wire, earth wire – black. The white wire is to be connected to the ignition control fuse.
- When the vehicle is turned off, the battery state is quiescent at 12V.
- When switched on, the ignition control wire detects vehicle turned on. The voltage sensing software will turn the heater on when 12.6 volts are detected. Thereafter the heater will be monitored by the built in thermistor and control the water temperature at 38-43ºC. When the vehicle is switched off the unit will switch off having sensed the battery voltage has dropped to 12.3V and the ignition signal has been dropped.
- The battery will not be therefore be drained by the Handeman Original.
